Here's a list of all the tools we use to make Studio Workshop Group function, graphic design programs/apps and books we've read that are important for music business insight.

I. LOVE. SQUARESPACE. I use it for myself and for my clients. It's great for using beautiful templates but then adding your own personalizations if you know how. Squarespace is also easy to hand over to your clients or any novice that wants to make updates in the future without much help. They also have amazing customer service if you have any issues.
Dubsado is another favorite because it does EVERYTHING I need seamlessly. My clients marvel at how we are able to do business in a paperless way. And I can only say that Dubsado is my secret. From contracts to invoices and all of the project management tools I need in between.

MailChimp is the perfect email marketing system for a new blogger/entrepreneur. It's free for the first 2,000 subscribers and it's very easy to sync with Squarespace. Doesn't take much expertise to figure out how to send content upgrades or create a landing page for a particular campaign.
Most graphic designers will tell you that learning how to use Photoshop, Illustrator and even InDesign is a must. I stayed away from them as long as I could but eventually I found out how vital they were to creating professional design work. While Adobe products do take some time to perfect, it's worth it for the polished end product.
If you don't have time to learn Adobe products, Canva is for you! You can make all kinds of graphics or marketing material with little to no training. There is a free version that can take care of all of your needs, but if you pay a little extra, you get some extra features.
I have been through a lot of different social media schedulers, but I always come back to Buffer. It's really the best tool for multiple accounts at a manageable price. You will also have access to analytics for your posts to social media.

I have personally read all of these books and still draw knowledge from them frequently.
